Is this prayer correct? The following dua 'should be recited while fasting: "I intended to fast in the month of Ramadaan yesterday." The real intention is a duty which is the name of the intention of the heart. Intention means to have a firm intention of something and in Islamic terminology, intention means an intention to gain obedience and nearness to the Almighty while doing something.

The intention is obligatory in acts of worship such as prayer, fasting, zakat, hajj, etc., but words are not obligatory. Mullah Ali Qari, Marqaat Al-Mufatih Sharh Mishkat Al-Masabih, 2: 304 writes: While the supplication for breaking the fast is stated in different words in the books of Hadith, one of which is narrated from Hazrat Mu'adh bin Zahra that Hazrat The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite the following supplications while breaking the fast: I fasted for you and broke my fast on the provision you gave me. ”In some books of hadith, this supplication has come with different words, such as (and I relied on you) (So accept my fast),

surely You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. But Mullah Ali Qari, while explaining this hadith, writes in “Marqaat Al-Mufatih” that although there is no basis for the words wabik Amanat in the iftar dua, these words are correct, and it is permissible to add the dua words (such as Some people add Talbiyah on the occasion of Hajj. Therefore, in the light of this discussion, we can recite the following customary supplication at the time of Iftar: Indeed, I fasted for you and I believed in you and I trusted in you and I broke my fast with the sustenance given by you. ”?

At the time of Iftar, there is a promise of acceptance of supplications from Allah Almighty, so before Iftar, one should offer good prayers for one's worldly and worldly needs, for one's parents and loved ones, and for the entire Muslim Ummah, as well as above. Ask for the prayers mentioned above. And if possible, collections containing authentic prayers, such as Al-Hizb-ul-Azam, or the supplications of popular prayers should also be recited on this occasion.
