Durood Taj and Lakhi and Durood Tanjina is bid'ah. There is no evidence from its Ahadith, but these are polytheistic Durood. They contain many polytheistic words. Explaining its properties and virtues, the author of the book writes:
If a person longs to visit the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with all his heart and soul, then he should finish the Isha prayer on Friday night and go to the qiblah and wear fragrant clothes one hundred and seventy times. If he goes to bed and sleeps for eleven nights, he will have the privilege of visiting the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
But one of the authors of the book writes: Do this for forty Fridays. If he prays seven times every day after Fajr prayers, three times after Asr, and three times after Isha, then his heart will be cleansed. He should recite it eleven times to avoid the plague of magic, evil spirits, jinn, devils, and smallpox and to get rid of them.
He should always do it after the Fajr prayer in order to increase the provision. And if a barren woman breathes after reciting it on twenty-one dates seven times, and feeds her one date daily, and has intercourse with her after her purification and ghusl from menstruation, then by the grace of Allaah a righteous son will be born, and if If a pregnant woman is disturbed, she should drink water seven times in a row for seven days.
Once a day is enough to avoid the excesses of the enemies, the envious, and the oppressors. Where did the above virtues come from and who described them? There is no mention in the book about it. What is the meaning of so many virtues without argument? Let us now explain a few words of Durood Taj and its translation: Anti-epidemic, epidemic, famine, disease, etc.
They are the remover of plague, famine, disease, and misery. If it is not shirking, then what else is there? Write greetings: This Durood is attributed to Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi and its virtue is equal to one hundred thousand Durood. In addition to this, he should make a number of Durood, in which Durood-e-Muqaddas, which contains all the polytheistic words, and which is full of non-Arabic words instead of Arabic, may Allah protect him from it. It is permissible for a person to recite Durood to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in words that have not been narrated, but it should not contain any word which is forbidden by the Shari'ah, such as exaggeration or means and asking from other than Allaah. It is not permissible for the one who is reciting dhikr to limit the time or number of dhikr or the nature of dhikr. Or the language of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Answer: Most of the words of Durood (except Durood Tanjina) mentioned in the question are not narrated from Qur'an and Hadith but some of the words are also wrong in terms of meaning. These virtues should not be trusted. Therefore, instead of reciting this kind of Durood, one should make arrangements to recite the Durood which is narrated from Hadith Sharif and the best Durood is Ibrahimi which we recite in prayers.
The command to recite absolute Durood Sharif is also present in the Holy Quran and also in the hadith. There is mention of reciting Durood Sharif in different words in the hadith. The words of the Durood which are prevalent are not proved by the narration of the hadith, but on the whole, its words are correct, so there is no problem in reciting it.
